What Causes Redness And Blisters On Stomach After Incisional Hernia?
Hi my husband had an incisional hernia on Wednesday and he is still in hospital and has 2 drains in. His stomach is very red and blistered all around the incision and the drains, they told him that I might have an infection,could you please give me your opinion, thank you

This is Dr Amit. I will suggest you to start antibiotics as early as possible and also to do the culture and sensitivity if possible as redness blisters are suggestive of post operative infection and inflammation and consult the surgeon accordingly.
