What Causes Red Tissue Like Discharge While Passing Stool?
Hi, I have been battling constipation for a couple of years now.. It s usually all the time unless I eat something high in fiber. But as of lately my stools have been soft.. Today I notices a fleshy orange/reddish tissue in my stool and I can t think of anything I would have eaten that would have looked like that. I m starting to worry that this could be something life threatening.
You are have chronic constipation now little better but worried as you have noticed an orange mass like tissue in the stool and you have not taken any food to have such a stool.
It is not clear from the history how big it was , whether it was associated with pain?..
Do not be panic.
A red tinged small bit of tissue it could be small anal tear .
If painless small amount of blood at the end of defaecation it could be internal haemorrhoids.
If I have a patient like this in my outpatient department I would proceed with motion complete incase it turns positive for blood proceed with further investigations and incase negative I would comfort the patient that it is not a big problem and give a stool softener.
Right of now take plenty of natural fibre food , increase in taking water .
If recurs meet a doctor in person
Hope our suggestions help.
Take care.
