What Causes Red Spot On Hard Palate And Tonsils?

Hello, My name is Natalie 19 year old female. I am concerned because a week and a half ago I noticed i had red spot on my hard palate. I had a slight pain a few minutes ago so I checked on it again and now they re spreading my my tonsils look red as well. I was wondering what this might be. I hope to get a response as soon as possible. Thank you

Understanding your concern.

As you mention in query that you have red spots on hard palate for around a year . Well this is a alarming sign , you must consult oral pathologist to rule out condition like malignant lesion. There are some other conditions also for red spot to be a cancer like :-

-Unusual bleeding, pain, or numbness in the mouth area

-Swelling of the jaw or neck

-Pain in the ear

-Change in voice

-A chronic sore throat

-Feeling as if something is caught in the throat

-Pain or difficulty in swallowing or chewing

If you are also experiencing such symptoms then consult doctor without any delay . Doctor may recommend radiation therapy or chemotherapy .
