What Causes Red Patches In The Armpits?

Woke up this morning with red patches in both under arms, similar in pattern, no itching, no swelling, no bumps or breaking of the skin, but has stayed same throughout the day. No fever. Have not changed my deodorant recently, so puzzled as to what this might be. The only thing different is a new tea that I tried last night, which has cardamom in it along with vanilla, almond & chamomile. Cardamom I have not had before as far as I know, and know not allergic to other 3 ingredients listed. Can you offer any ideas?

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hi,

Considering the new intake of cardamom in tea, there is strong possibility of the patches in conjunction with that only. An observation over period of time with aloe vera application will solve the issue in majority of the cases, later if needed consult your skin specialist.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
