What Causes Red, Itchy Rashes On The Body Along With Yellow Urine?
I started with a cold that turned into the flu. My fever is 99 and my body aches. What is unusual is a red rash covering my body - that itches. Also my urine is bright-dark yellow after hydrating. The last two symptoms confuse me. I am a 73 year old woman and have had exceptionally good health! I haven't had a cold in years.

The fever with rash is suggestive of an exanthematous fever.
These are often viral in etiology and may cause inflammation of the liver and the dark yellow urine may be due to the same.
If you do not improve, it would be better to see a doctor and have yourself examined and investigated.
