What Causes Red Flaky Itchy Spots On The Penis?

Hi For a while now I have dry flaky sometimes itchy red spots on my penis everything I have looked up has me leaning twords penis rash but I do not know how to get it to go away sometimes it almost clears up and then it gets really dry and flaky can you please help me

Hi,
Thanks for posting in HCM.
I understand your concern.
Flaky red spots and itching sensation what you are having on the penis could be due to bacterial infection and inflammation of the skin in the region due to poor hygiene.
Kindly do the following to overcome the same.
1. Clean the area with mild antiseptic solution like Savlon twice daily.
2. Use anti-bacterial medicated soaps to take bath regularly.
3. After drying, apply Neomycin with Hydrocortisone cream over the lesions.
4. Take Tablet. Levocetirizine once a day to control itching and overcome allergic reactions.
5. Wear loose fitting undergarments to prevent friction and providing proper ventilation.
6. Abstain from sexual activities till the lesions heal completely.
Main good personal hygiene. Gradually your symptoms should subside and be back to normal.
