What Causes Red Discoloration In The Legs Below The Knee?
I have a 15 year old son (6 2 ) average weight. On warm or hot days he returns from school with very red legs ( under the knee down to the ankles) there is no swelling or pain. this does disappear after an hour or so once he sits down. Is this a circulation problem or a reaction to the heat?

I think the red discolouration of lower legs is a sign of venous valves failure. You can visit an angiologyst to check his lower leg veins conditions. He may also do a Doppler ultrasound.
