What Causes Red Discharge From The Nose?

Hello doctor ... Few days back I got a thick red blob like mucus came out of my left nostril when I blew my nose hard. After that .. I got fresh blood mixed with mucus for few minutes and it stopped.after that day .. till now .. I'm getting small amounts of dark red blood in my mucus till now .. it is like clots ..I am damn sure .. It is only from my nose ... I have no symptoms of fever ,cough etc. I met a ENT specialist and got few medications for inflammation .. which included sylaye 500.. I had it for 3 days .. but still I can see blood clot like thing in my mucus everyday .. I took a paranasal sinuses scan .. and it just said mild bilateral sinuses and sphenoid sinuses.. My physician said its normal .. but I am a bit scared..is it anything serious.. does this symptom related to my brain or anyother serious issues ?

I have gone through your Query & I really appreciate your concern about the problem you are facing.

As a physician, i would like to tell you that your ENT surgeon and your physicians were quite right in treating you. If you continue to experience these symptoms again and agian., you can visit a different ENT surgeon and get evaluated again or be done with a scopy to rule out the local injuries and malignancies.
