What Causes Red Colored Dot On The Shoulders?

Hello I have a red dot on my left shoulder near the trap. My mom, a registered RN called it a pepper but I want to make sure I get a second opinion before I get it checked out by my GP. On one occasion, it seemed as if it was scratched open and bled, but has since stopped bleeding but is still present in the skin. Id say 2 mm in diameter.

Hello
thanks for the query
You might have doubled up pyogenic granuloma.
It is a condition in which abbarent blood vessels accumulate under the skin.
In this condition a small bump is formed on the skin which keeps on bleeding when touched or pricked.
It can be easily removed using a radio-frequency later.
It hardly takes 10 minutes to remove such lesions.
Please meet at dermatologist and get it removed.
Let me know if you have any other doubts.
Thank you
