Hi,

Your son may be having lichen urticatus also called papular urticaria. It is hypersensitivity to insects like bed bug, flea, mosquito or other. You consult dermatologist for firm diagnosis and treatment. You may give steroid in pediatric dose for short duration in tappering fashion. Antihistaminics like hydroxyzine HCL 10 mg twice a day may be given. Apply mild steroid cream. And keep him protected from insects. I hope you got my answer.

Thanks.
