Pediatrician 's  Response
Hi,

It looks like she got hit in the eye. Her eyes should be examined by a physician or an ophthalmologist to rule out any foreign body in the eyes. It's better to take her to emergency and get it checked. Usually bloodshot in the eye will take 2 to 3 weeks to settle.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Nirubhan Bharathy, Pediatrician
