What Causes Red Blisters On The Face And Body?

Hello, I am. 81 year old woman. I had the Singles vancine about 3 yesra sgo. I am in vscation in Florida, away from my own doctot in Michigsn. I first noticed a small a small spot (blister) on my cheek, about three days ago, then one on my inside wrist a day later, it was irchy, now is a red spot sbout the size of a pea. I then three similiar spots on the trunk of my body just above my waistline. Then yesterday I got thr same type small blister on my knee, all are on left side of my body. All start itchy, then skin turns red about size of dime to size of nickel. Could this be shingles? We are staying at a well maintained resort, but I checked bedding for bedbugs when first spot shsowed up, but no sign of anything. We are not returnimg to Michigsn until April, Do you have any ideas what this could be? Helen Baker. Email. YYYY@YYYY

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hi,

This can be shingle or other viral lesions of the skin causing spreading dermatitis.

Precise care of local part, systemic antibiotic, antifungal, antiviral along with judicious use of steroids are mandatory to cure the issue thoroughly.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Purva Patel,
General & Family Physician
