What Causes Red And Painful Blotch On The Back Of Ankle?

Hello, I developed a red, painful blotch on the back of my ankle, on the upper part of the achilles tendon. It is an irregular blotch and had what looked like a very small blood blister in the middle. The area around it is now tight and somewhat swollen. I marked around the blotch earlier to see if it might increase during the day, but it is the same.
