What Causes Recurring Seizures In An Adolescent?

I have a 17 yr. old daughter that has had seizures for 2 and a half years now. Doesn t seem like any meds are working on her, even rescue meds. They are mostly tonic clonic that come in clusters once a month. It s not always around her menstrual. Every test they have ran on her has came back normal. Just wondering if there are other recommendations that we could try. Or if anyone has any clue to what we could look for as far as test. We live in Missouri. Our neurologist and rheumatologist are running out of options. Open for any ideas or options for test. Please if you can think of anything, please tell. I will run past our doctors and have them look into checking into it. Thanks

Hello dear. Thanks for writing us here.
I guess you should go for a CT scan of head and see the results. I'm suspecting a condition called neurocyctisercosis. Only tests can reveal the true diagnosis and also go for a PET scan to know if some activity of her brain is increased in some parts which causes her symptom.
