What Causes Recurring Pain In The Forehead?

My 3 year old son says his forehead hurts about once a day. I have seen 2 pediatricians and a neurologist and they think he s fine and does not need mri. Should I insist on one? Would he have other symptoms if it was serious? He s acting normal as can be. Thanks

General & Family Physician 's  Response
hello,
i can understand your concern.
since the pediatricians and the neuro physician think he is absolutely fine i donot suggest an mri.
an opinion from an opthalmologist would rather be helpful.
your son might have developed myopia. this has to be ruled out in children.
does your son eat a proper diet rich in vitamins and minerals???
children of this can have nutritional deficiency leading to the headaches.
i would suggest a multivitamin syp like syp zincovit 2.5ml twice daily.
get back to us with the opinion of the opthalmologist.
do not worry, this is quite common in children.
feel free to ask further queries.
thanks for choosing HCM.
