I am 31yr old female. I had pain below my rib cage in right side for 2 days then stopped. started again 2 days later. It starts about 2hrs after I eat. Pain is sharp, constant, crampy. Then I feel nauseated. Can you help me figure out what's wrong?

Hi..
Welcome to HEALTHCARE MAGIC..

I have gone through your query and can understand your concerns..

As per your complain recurring pain below the rib cage after eating can be most probably due to Acid reflux..
Other causes can be Peptic ulcers, indigestion, food intolerance etc..
I would suggest you to consult a Gastroenterologist and get evaluated and a thorough clinical evaluation and investigations like upper G.I Endoscopy, Colonoscopy, Barium swallow etc can help in diagnosis and treatment can be planned accordingly..
You can be advised proton pump inhibitors like Omeprazole that will help in reducing acid content in stomach, take antacids like Calcium carbonate or Milk of magnesia, take a light diet, avoid spicy food and drink plenty of water..
Take small frequent meals and avoid eating in bulk..
Take more of Yoghurt in diet as it is a probiotic..

Hope this information helps..

Thanks and regards.
