What Causes Recurring Nose Bleed With Pain In The Temple?

For the past 8 weeks I have have had constant blood in the top of my right nostril & at times when i blow I have a slight nose bleed & on an odd occassion I have just been sitting & it bleeds quite freely One night this happened 4 times in an hour. I get a pressure feeling in my forehead with some pain on the top front of my head. Thank you Joan

Hello,

There can be many reasons for your above mentioned problem. As you haven't mentioned your age, I would like to tell you that please consider checking your blood pressure sometimes high pressures lead to these problem called epistaxis. Next time you have nasal bleed try pinching your nose to stop bleeding. If blood pressure is the cause you need to control your pressure with medication to get rid of nasal bleed and headaches. Please meet a physician for hypertension to be ruled out.
