What Causes Recurring Muscle Spasms Around The Left Ribs?
I suffer from recurring muscle spasms primarily in my left rib region but occasionally in the right rib region. The spasms are occurring several times a month and last for several days and are extremely painful. What might create this constant recurring spasm pain? I am female, age 60, and in good health otherwise.

The symptoms seem to be related to muscle spasms.
I suggest using muscle relaxants such as Baclofen.
I also suggest taking a magnesium supplement which helps in muscle relaxation.
I recommend drinking liquids and rest.
