What Causes Recurring Lower Leg And Foot Cramps?

I am getting for past 2 weeks severs lower leg and foot cramps at night. Not only muscles but ligiment and tendon cramping that will last up to 3 hours a night. When I get up my muscles are so so sore. I started to take potasium pills and it stopped for a week but now the cramping has started again.

The rest cramps may be due to dehydration or electrolyte disbalance. Maybe you are using diuretics making you lose potassium. You can potassium sparing diuretics. Also you can increase potassium rich foods such bananas, potatoes. Also keep yourself hydrated.
