What Causes Recurring Lower Back Pain Prior To Urination?

I have pain on one side of my back below my waistline it is intermittent and seems to go with a need to urinate (which is a lot more frequent than usual) the pain is not severe but sharp and a solid 6.6 on a 1-10 pain scale. I took an over the counter UTI test that was positive for leukocytes but negative for nitrate. I m on vacation and want to know if I can wait until I get home to seek medical help or should I seek it now.

General & Family Physician 's  Response
You need to get an ultrasound scan done of your kidneys. There might be kidney stones. That needs to be ruled out.
