Hi,I am Dr. Amitkumar Sharma (Internal Medicine Specialist). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
I've had a periodic low-grade fever for the past three weeks (approximately half of the days my temperature will be between about 99-99.5; normal temperature for me is around 98.0). I'm not otherwise experiencing symptoms of illness. About two weeks ago a doctor said that a fever without other symptoms wouldn't be concerning unless it was above 100.4. Should I seek a second opinion? What might be causing this?
