What Causes Recurring Headaches After Restarting Warfarin?

I have been taking warfarin for over two years now. I went off warfarin and started taking lovanox in order to get a DNC. I then continued warfare. I have had a minor headache on the left side more days then not the last four weeks. The headaches started sometime soon after going on lovanox but continued after going back on warfarin. What could be causing the headaches?

Hello dear Greetings
Regarding your experience with one sided headache following intake of warfarin and lovenox I am suggesting there is likelihood that you have developed a cerebral hemorrhage

In view of this please do a CT scan to confirm the above condition

Lovenox (enoxaparin) and warfarin are anticoagulant that helps prevent the formation of blood clots and one of dreadful complications of these drugs is brain hemorrhage

So please stop both drugs at moment and see your physician for re-evaluation of your medication dosage

Meanwhile take tablet Tylenol for the headache
