What Causes Recurring Episodes Of Tingling Sensation In Head, Fatigue And Nausea?

My niece has been having episodes of tingling feelings in her head along with weakness, fatigue and feeling faint. The tingling started in the frontal area but now is also in the posterior area. There is a small pineal cyst 2-4 mm and a cyst associated with the pituitary gland which projects between the anterior and posterior portions of the pituitary gland with posterior hyper intense neuropophysis wrapping around the clot shape configuration along the posterior margin. Small cysts could be a Rathkes cyst, intermedia or other benign cysts. Could this be causing these symptoms? There is a history of Factor v and was treated with Lovonox for 6 weeks post delivery in March. Since this all started nausea is also a symptom.

General Surgeon 's  Response
Hello,

First of all, scalp tingling may be a feature of different dermatological conditions such as seborrheic dermatitis for example.

Skalp tingling also may be a symptom of anxiety disorder also.

Getting evaluated by a Dermatologist is necessary to evaluate or exclude any dermatological conditions.

Scalp tingling has nothing to do with brain aneurysms or any brain serious condition.

Cough also doesn't cause an aneurysm, chronic uncontrolled hypertension and connective tissue diseases predispose to brain aneurysms.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Ivan R. Rommstein, General Surgeon
