What Causes Recurring Chills After Martial Art Training?

hi, I have been training in Systema (a Russian Martial Art.) during the practice there are many semi painful blows and a lot of extreme exercise. Since training last night I have had reacurring chills and thought it might be like the marathon runners I see with blankets after event. just curious.

Hello and Welcome to ‘Ask A Doctor’ service.

I have reviewed your query and here is my advice. The chills could be your body's way of saying there is electrolyte imbalance, especially if you have just started practicing or taken your training to next level. adequate nutrition and intake of water might help especially if you feel you are not replenishing them.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Samuel Parmar
