What Causes Recurring Bronchitis, Wheezing And Chronic Cough?

I have been in and out of the hospital 3 times in the past month and a half, bronchitis,wheezing, coughing they have me all kinds of meds in and out hospital,I get a little better and go home,then in 4 days time I m just as sick as I was when I went in.Could this be lung cancer or maybe some superbug? YYYY@YYYY

Lung cancer would show up on imaging , this means that if you had an x ray or CT of the chest, this would have been seen.

If you have not had any imaging, then this would be needed to rule out this possibility.

It is possible that it is related to a very persistent organism. Lab examination of the sputum or getting washing/secretions from the airways, would be able to determine the exact causative organism involved.

Treatment can then be directed towards this 'bug'.
