What Causes Recurring Breast Infections?

Well I have been having breast infections for about a year now. They come and go or sometimes just stay awhile with or without antibiotics. I have already had an unsuccessful surgery and go Iin for aan ultrasound tomorrow to attempt surgery agsin. I have been reading up on the zuska disease and it seems to fit very well. I am also a smoker. What are the tests to find out Iif my theory is correct and what changes to treatment would be needed? How can this befixed? After a year of near continuous infection and pain im desperate.
