What Causes Recurring Break Outs Of Hives On Body?

I have been breaking out in hives every morning, a couple of times during the day. They are mainly on my thighs and buttocks area, but have been on my shoulders and bottom of my feet, and this afternoon I took a nap and work up with them on my chin and forehead as well as my thighs and shoulders. I have been taking Benadryl and a couple of hrs after, all but a few go away. I work up with a sore throat this morning and have had chills this evening as well as a light fever.

Understanding your concern.

Thanks for your query . Hives are body's response to any external stimuli that irritates skin. The symptom you mention in query (sore throat ) is kind of medical emergency in case of hives .

I would suggest you to immediately consult dermatologist or doctor for proper evaluation of the condition and treatment .Doctor may perform skin test and give adrenaline injection . In such cases sometimes patient suffer from suffocation.


For now take over the counter antihistamine drug like benadryl , give cold compresses to affected area several times and aply cream containing steroids .
