What Causes Recurring Boils On The Legs Despite Taking Spironolactone?

Hi, I have been diagnosed with HS. Is there a cure or what things can help the symptoms. I get boils on my legs constantly now and take long term tetracycline and spironolactone and when i have a flare up i am given ofloxacin, metronidazole or fluclox. Is there anything else i can suggest to my doctor thay may help??

repeated boil are because of some kind of infection .I suggest you to do examination of discharge from your boil for culture and sensitivity to a microbiology lab . As it will suggest you causative organism and antibiotic sensitivity for that organism . you should also maintain proper skin hygiene as your local skin flora may be responsible for this condition . you can use medicated soap for cleaning of your skin .
