hi, recurrent amoebiasis can occur in a child if there is a habit of eating nails, scratching the wall, are putting fingers in mouth. Another reason can be inadequate treatment during the first time. Sometimes if infestation is more then repeat antihelminthic drugs should be given after 1 week. I suggest you to look for above things. You should also do a stool for routine microscopy test. This will clear the picture. Antihelminthic drugs like Albendazole should be given to child. Have a good day.
