What Causes Recurrent Vomiting And Fever?

My son has had vomiting episodes on and off for almost a year now. Lasts anywhere from 2 to 8 days at a time. That s his only symptom. This past week he started running a low fever along with it. He s been to the doc and tests have been ran. All that has been discovered is high production of stomach acids. Th mess aren t working. Is there something his doc could be missing? Food sensitivities maybe?? He s missed a lot of school and other activities due to this.
