What Causes Recurrent Urinary Tract Infections?

I finished taking Macrobid for a UTI last Thursday and I am having UTI symptoms again.. It started last night. I am 57 years old and have never had this problem. my gynecologist initially prescribed Bactrim but when lab results came in switched it to Macrobid. I have no pain , just leaking urine and it is pussy. These are the same symptoms from my previous one. My last infection one also had blood in it. So far I do not have any blood. I am feeling very frustrated. Not sure if I should go to a different doctor for a second opinion. I am not sexually active right now.

Hi, I think you should check your sugar levels and get a ultrasound done to see the kidneys, ureter and bladder to find out the cause of recurrent UTI.
