What Causes Recurrent Sinus And Chest Infections?

My wbc is 15000, I have frequent infections generally of the chest or sinuses, swollen (non painful) lymph nodes in the throat and neck, am constantly exhausted, have a mild fever and chills frequently, I wouldn t say that I bruise easily, however, bruises generally take months to go away. My pcp has referred me to a cancer center for further testing. At one of my appointments he mentioned chronic leukemia but couldn t confirm a diagnosis. What are your thoughts? Why would he mention that specific disease unless he were thinking that s what it is?
