What Causes Recurrent Pus Filled Zit On My Upper Back?

I have a normal sized zit on my upper back. I have been getting it there for years. In the past it would only be once every couple of months but now twice a month. I was diagnosed with lymes disease and a couple co infections six months ago and am still on antibiotics, antimicrobials and many herbal supplements. I m not sure if its related to the Lyme rash I get on my lower back. That rash is a whole patch of itchy blisters of clear fluid that come and go once a month when I m herxing. But the zit is a white head zit of about a medium size that I get some white puss out of when I scratch it off. Any thoughts on what it might be caused by or if its related to the Lyme rash?

HI, thanks for using healthcare magic

It is possible that it is a cyst.

A cyst is a sac that can repeatedly collect material which can become infected.

If the cyst is removed then no further collections are possible.

This can be done by a general surgeon or your GP ,possibly as an in office procedure.

I hope this helps
