What Causes Recurrent Pain In The Abdomen And Back?

I have been suffering from stomach and back pain since December. The pain comes and goes without warning. I take 15 to 290 ultra Tums along with Gaviscon but it does not help. Also, when I walk, I get the same pain. I am now waiting for an appointment for a stomach scope but, in the meantime, I am worried and tired of this situation. my son is getting married in one month and I am afraid I will not be well.

General Surgeon 's  Response
Hi,

Consult a general surgeon and plan for an ultrasound scan.

We have to rule out possibilities like ovarian causes as they can present with similar symptoms.

As of now analgesics like Aceclofenac or Tramadol can be taken for pain relief.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Shinas Hussain,
General & Family Physician
