What Causes Recurrent Genital Herpes Infection?
Hi I have had genital herpes but it cleared and hasn t reoccurred for months. I started to get symptoms of it late last night. I have medication which I began last night also. My question is I saw a guy Friday night and although we didn t sleep together we did fool around a little. Now I feel terrible. I want to know if he could have possibly contracted anything??

If you are actually having genital herpes, it is very likely that he has contracted Herpes too. You should know that this infection is transmitted through the fluid from the vesicles (Herpes vesicles).
