What Causes Recurrent Fever Inspite Of Giving Tylenol To Infant?

Hi I have a 9 month old baby girl who has been running a fever since about 8am this morning. Tylenol has been keepin her temperture down but the lowest it has gone is 99.5 and as soon as the medicine wears off it shoots back up to 102 or so. At what point do I decide to take her to the er or urgent care? Also my 5 year old was diagnosed with hand foot and mouth disease recently but she only had the rash not the sickness as well. Is my best bet to take the baby to be checked out? Or just continue to give her medicine to keep it down.

HI
Well come to HCM
I really appreciate your concern, it is the double question asked for two patients, first for the girl it could be viral fever wait for 5 to 6 days and it will be fine and if not then clinical examination and investigation is needed, second if this is being already diagnosed and on treatment then better to continue the given treatment, hope this information helps, take care and have a nice day.
