General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hi,

You seem to have upper respiratory tract infection involving all ear, nose &throat.

Doing Gargles with hot saline, vapour inhalation, drinking warm water, avoiding allergens & spicy, oily, sour or cold eatables & strict diabetic diet is what you can do at home.

This should be a company with a suitable antibiotic, allergy medicine, decongestant & anti-inflammatory drug&cough syrup as per the advice of an ENT doctor.

Excessive thirst is due to high blood sugar. Please consult your diabetes doctor for control of blood sugar. Without that infection will not be controlled.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Take care

Regards,
Dr Vasudha Jayant Athavale, General & Family Physician
