What Causes Recurrent Abdominal Bloating And Vomiting?

Hi I am experiencing a bulge that comes in and out of my stomach by my rib cage next to a recent surgery incision (7 months ago).It was only happening every now and then and it has happened most every time I use my stomach muscles over the last couple of hours and causing so much pain that I am.also vomitting. Should I go to the emergency room?

Hi.
Thanks for your query.
Noted the history and understood the concerns.
Bilge coming out and in near the recent surgical incision in abdomen is surely a sign of an incisional hernia.
The pain is suggestive of an obstruction and hence an emergency.
You should immediately go to ER for clinical evaluation, examination and inventions of blood, ultrasonography with color Doppler and be ready for surgery if need be.
Do not take anything orally.
Do not try anything at home.
