What Causes Rectal Pain While Coughing?

I have a dull to sharp pain in my anus (below the tailbone, lots of pressure) that really hurts when I cough. I have also been suffering from hemorrhoids. I just push it gently back after cleaning myself from bowl movements. Hurts to sit and woke me up last night.

Hi
Thanks for the query to H C M.
There is a dull pain in the anus and there is also feeling of pressure on the same part.
As you mentioned in the query that you are having hemorrhoids , yes that is the reason of such pain and pressure around anus .
Gently pushing of hemorrhoids is not a treatment but a time being relief provide .
So first of all consult a surgeon and take complete treatment for hemorrhoids .
If even after treatment you feel pain then that will be the cause of concern .
So at present the best option is treatment for hemorrhoids.
Hope this information will be useful for you.
Further , if any question I will reply happily .
Good luck.
