What Causes Rashes On The Shins?

I am a 51 yr. old AA female, I have diabetes but my readings have been good. Last summer I broke out in a terrible rash on the front of both of my shins. It eventually went away after I tried every cream and ointment on the market. Now it looks like it s returning and I want to stop it before it gets worse. What can I do?

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello,

It may be due to contact dermatitis.

For that you can take tablet loratidine for itching.

Apply hydrocortisone ointment locally.

Maintain proper hygiene.

Avoid sweating.

In case of not getting relief you may require ultrasound Doppler after consultation

Hope I have answered your query..
Let me know if I can assist you further.
