My doctor has diagnosed me with psoriatic arthritis. I am 36 years old, and in good health (other than the rash and swollen joints). I have a rash on my fingers, and smaller spots on my feets, ankles and a few on my torso. I have swelling and pain in the index finger of my right hand, as well as in the first two toes of my right foot. I have been to a doctor, who basically told me this is what psoriasis is. You just have to get used to it and deal. I dont want to get used to joint swelling for the rest of my life, nor do I want the constant red rash on my fingers. I have been given go many steroid creams that I cant take having more. Nothing has worked. I want to know if there is hope for me. This situation is ruining my life. It seems no matter what I do, I cant stop having bright red fingers, spots on my foot and legs, and severe joint pain. I dont know how much longer I can go, especially with my doctor basically ignoring me. Help!
