Hello,
Rapid heart rate can be triggered by strong emotions like fear, anxiety, stress, vigorous physical activity, addictions (alcohol, caffeine, etc),
high blood pressure,
thyroid disease, heart disease, hormonal changes, GERD, etc. You are suggested to take adequate water, take fiber rich food to help easy bowel movement. Constipation may cause gastritis or acid reflux and trigger heart rate. Take antacids and PPIs for relief.
For backache, take
acetaminophen, one SOS when needed. Always take medicines after food, not in empty stomach. However, since
Sinus tachycardia, AF or MI do cause rapid heart rate, you are suggested to get clinically examined by a cardiologist, get all routine examinations (Lipid function tests, EKG, Echo, Stress tests, etc) done to detect any developing CAD. You will be treated accordingly. Stay active.
Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards,
Dr. Nupur K., General & Family Physician
