What Causes Random Bruising On The Feet While On Cortisone Injections?
I have been diagnosed with plantar fasciitis. I have had several cortisone injections and taken oral anti inflammatory medication, I also have arch supports and a night brace. It is not improving and I now have bruising on my foot without injury. I m not currently taking anti inflammatory medications and I m not on blood thinners. What would cause this?

What Causes Random Bruising On The Feet While On Cortisone Injections?
Hello, It is due to local inflammation. As of now, you can take anti-inflammatory drugs like serratiopeptidase for symptomatic relief. If bruises persist, consult a physician and get evaluated to rule out conditions like bleeding disorders. Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further. Take care Regards, Dr Shinas Hussain, General & Family Physician
