What Causes Radiating Pain In The Foot?

I have in the last two days developed pain in my left foot. It is painful when I put my weight on it. Looking at the bottom of my foot the pain radiates from the outside middle of the foot where there is a swollen area 3 inches long. I do have perifial neuraphy from chemo.

Thanks for writing to Health Care magic, I am Dr , Muhammad Ahmad , I have read your question closely, I understand your concern and will be helping you with your health related problem.

This seems to be infalammatory in origin I would suggest you not to panci first try some simple measure if they dont work for you them visit your doctor for expert opinion.I would suggest youn to take rest, wear easy shoes with soft subber soles while walking, ice the swollen and paining are thrice a day... apply local pain killer cream to the area, take tablet ibuprofen 400mg twice a day to control inflammation. If this keeps getting worse then there is always an option to visit your doctor. But i am quite positive that these measure will help.
