General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello,

As per my clinical experience, it sounds to be like infected boil through some sort of wood pricking at work place.Primary relief with sterile dressing and analgesic tablet as Aleve and definite cure requires consulting with your GP to get prescription of antibiotics or to rule out need of incision and drainage in selected cases.

Hope I have answered your query.
Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Purva Patel,
