Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
What Causes Pus Filled Lumps On Left Arm,breast And Behind Earlobe?
I ve had a lump under my left arm for the past 2 yrs-brought it to my Dr. attention last yr & she wasn t concerned. 2 weeks ago the lump erupted with puss & blood. Very painful. I had to use my right hand to move my left arm. Since that episode 2 more lumps arrived in the same area. I also have a lump on the back of my left thigh (a size of a dime)-which has been there for a year. I have a lump behind my right earlobe-which I squeeze & smelly yellow puss comes out. My left eye duct gets built up & I have to put pressure on it & yellow stinky puss comes out. I ve had 3 lumps removed from my breasts. My left breast is inflamed now. It builds up around my nipple & erupts with awful smelling puss. I ve had lumps removed from my face also. What is causing this?? Am I an alien?
I suggest you to get culture and antibiotic sensitivity for the pus aspirated. Recurrent pus filled blisters could be due to low bacterial resistance against the antibiotic used or other causes like low immunity. I suggest you to get viral markers also like HIV, HBsAg and HCV.
Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
