Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
What Causes Pus Filled Blisters Along With Itching After Usage Of Beard Dye?
I have had a allergic reaction to beard dye. It is itching and has formed blisters which are slightly weeping. Once they have dried up they form a yellow scab. What should I use to clear this up without having to go to a gp. Also how long will it take to disappear?
Hello and welcome to HCM, If the blisters have formed as a result of allergy to beard dye, they will disappear after a few days. Symptomatic treatment in the form of topical antiseptic ointment can be done. Topical antiseptic ointment will prevent bacterial infection of the blisters. Anti-histaminic drug can be used to allow the allergic process to subside as early as possible. Do not use this product in future because it can cause an exaggerated response also.
Thanks and take care Dr Shailja Puri
