What Causes Pulsating Sharp Pain On The Temple?

I have a pulsating sharp pain at my right temple and feels like it is behind my right eye. This has been going on for several days and the pain can be 8/10,or 9/10. It seems much worse towards the end of the day and much less in the morning. Is this a serious concern that needs medical follow up?

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello,

The sun seem to be related to migraine. I recommend using anti-inflammatory medications such as Ibuprofen to relieve the pain. If the symptoms continue, you should consult a neurologist. Prescription painkillers such as Triptans may be needed.

Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Dorina Gurabardhi, General & Family Physician
