What Causes Prolonged Vaginal Bleeding During Menstruation?

resp sir, i am geeta here 30 years old my question is i got MC last one month its continually bleeding then i consult to family doctor she gave me pause 500mg table for 3 days purpose, i took table but not stop my bleeding so i am very excited why it was happening and why it is not stoping, please give me answer clearly. I understand your concern
The Problem of prolonged bleeding you have can be due to-
- Incomplete abortion( where history of delayed periods exists),
- Hormonal imbalance, PCOD, ovarian or thyroid problems, fibroid uterus., pelvic inflammation.
Pause is meant for control of bleeding by improving clotting process.It will only be effective to control bleeding due to general weakness/ bleeding disorders.
* You need to consult a gynecologist for detailed gynecological examination & few investigations ( Hb%,hormonal assay, thyroid function test,USG pelvis
This will be followed by specific medicines ,which will solve your problem. Please don't worry.
