What Causes Prolonged Sinus Like Pressure On Head With Clogged Ears?

For 3 months I have had a lot of pressure on my head that feels like sinus pressure. My ears feel clogged and it is hard to drive. I had a MRI done with clear results. It is hard to focus also. I took antibiotics for sinus infection but did not help. I feel like have been punched in the head 100 times and it won t go away. It feels like I got a concussion but haven t been hit in the head. Been tested for west nile but also negative. What do you think this is?

Welcome to HCM.

Understanding your concern. As per your query you have clogged ears along with severe headache . Well the symptoms you mention in query are pointing towards a condition like meniere's disease . It is the result of the abnormal volume or composition of fluid in the inner ear. There can be many reasons for this like Improper fluid drainage, perhaps because of a blockage or anatomic abnormality, abnormal immune response , Allergies , Viral infection . I would suggest you to consult ENT specialist or ototlaryngologist for proper checkup and rule out cause like acoustic neuroma or brain tumor . Doctor may order CT scam , Auditory brainstem response audiometry or Videonystagmography . Doctor may prescribe sedaativer , steroids or anti inflammatory . For now take ibuprofen or acetaminophen for pain .
